On the excessive use of coefficient of variation as a metric of quantitation!

 

I can't do it. I can't read this, but I guess I'm too honest of a person to pretend that: 

1) This isn't important (it clearly IS important)

2) I read it.

I have a ton of respect for this group and, while you should never rely on that for why you trust what they believe they wrote is probably accurate, it probably isn't too wrong to tell other people to read it. 

But OMFG, this is 

Figures are nice. I'm glad they really dug into this, but analytical chemists are a special sort of special boring sometimes.
