This is a seriously interesting read...and...I'm not 100% sure what to make of it. It definitely throws into question some of the assumptions (and statements!) that I personally make regarding PTMs, search space, FDR, etc.,
Or...it throws into question some of my assumptions regarding how the super-secret Mascot algorithms work...
