Something cool I learned about this week is the CorConneX. I have to admit I don't have a concrete understanding of how this works, but it was highly recommended by someone who knows what she's doing! You can read more about it here. The gist, however, is that it automatically (robotically?) makes zero dead volume junctions with silica columns and traps and lines and as many as you want. This would be especially useful for systems that aren't, for whatever reason, compatible with nanoViper fittings.
